Repairing a Torn Meniscus and a Torn ACL in Morgantown

Sep 29, 2015

Mike Arbogast had orthopedic surgery at Mountainstate Orthopedic Associates (MOA) to repair his torn ACL and torn meniscus.

Over the years, Mike has been helping tell the stories of MOA patients but never expected the roles would be reversed, and he would be on the other side of the camera.

Mike is an active guy who enjoys playing soccer, swimming, running and hiking.  It was during an indoor soccer game where he injured his knee. Two months later, Mike went to MOA and found out he had torn his ACL and meniscus and needed orthopedic surgery.

Going into the operation, Mike had complete confidence in the doctors as they informed him exactly what they needed to do to repair his knee.

Within a couple hours, his surgery was completed, and he was given crutches. No brace or restrictions, and within a week of surgery, he was back at work, lugging around camera equipment with his crew.

Thanks to the doctors and orthopedic surgeons at MOA, Mike feels that he can run free and do the job that he loves.
